Best Kind of Broken Review

Best Kind Of Broken
By: Chelsea Fine

Pixie and Levi haven't spoken in nearly a year when they find themselves working―and living―at the same inn in the middle of nowhere. Once upon a time, they were childhood friends. But that was before everything went to hell. And now things are... awkward.

All they want to do is avoid each other, and their past, for as long as possible. But now that they're forced to share a bathroom, and therefore a
shower, keeping their distance from one another becomes less difficult than keeping their hands off each other. Welcome to the hallway of awkward tension and sexual frustration, folks. Get comfy. It’s going to be a long summer.

Well Chelsea Fine has done it again. Best Kind of Broken is an addictive read filled with heart break and true love. I devoured it. It had me hooked from the very first page with its very first line.
"If the bastard neighbor uses all the hot water again, I will suffocate him in his sleep"

Sarah, aka Pixie, is living/working at her aunts Inn while she is trying to move on with her life. After losing her friend in a car accident that left her fighting for her life, she thinks she has come to terms with everything. But when faced with living next to the guy who put her there, she can't help but go a little nuts.

And boy does she go nuts. Her interactions with Levi was down right hilarious. It truly and 100% had one of the best bantering back and forth between two characters. I loved every minute of it. The sexual frustration between Levi and Pixie was off the charts. The great thing about this book was all you wanted to read about was the both of them together, and that's what you got. Whether they were fighting or hooking up, this book left you begging for more.
"Levi is looking at me with nothing but hunger, and I've never wanted to feed anything so desperately."
The story line for this novel was as epic as the relationship. There was a lot of darkness in this book but there was also so much light. The little memories that you get from them was little gems that I cherish. Its like I got to know Charity along with them. With such a beautiful story that is so well written, I can only imagine this book will be on everyone's shelf. And if it isn't I won't understand why. Levi and Pixie, along with all the other characters, will make you believe in true love. They will teach you that loss is something that makes you stronger and ultimately makes you who you are. Highly recommend you to read. Truly EPIC!! It's just soo... gosh it was wonderful. A real beautiful story.
"But life is going to happen to me no matter what. Not planning won't keep the future from coming"

***** I wanted to add a little side note. I just want to say thank you to Chelsea Fine for writing such a wonderful novel. I felt so connected with this character because she was also in a horrific accident leaving herself with a terrible scar. I also am covered in huge scars because of my own accident and I must say that Pixie has a wonderful way of dealing with it which just makes me feel better. I know she's only fictional but there are real people out there that deal with her situation on a daily basis. It was all wonderfully written and true to heart that comforts me. So Thank You!
