Find Me
By: Romily Bernard

“Find Me.”

These are the words written on Tessa Waye’s diary. The diary that ends up with Wick Tate. But Tessa’s just been found . . . dead.

Wick has the right computer-hacking skills for the job, but little interest in this perverse game of hide-and-seek. Until her sister Lily is the next target.

Then Griff, trailer-park boy next door and fellow hacker, shows up, intent on helping Wick. Is a happy ending possible with the threat of Wick’s deadbeat dad returning, the detective hunting him sniffing around Wick instead, and a killer taunting her at every step?

Foster child. Daughter of a felon. Loner hacker girl. Wick has a bad attitude and sarcasm to spare.

But she’s going to find this killer no matter what.

Because it just got personal.

... ... .. I am speechless. I don't know how I can convey to you guys and Judith from ILoveYAFiction how amazing and truly worth while this novel is. I'm still in awe over it. I got to get my feelings out there though because this book CAN NOT pass you up. By the end of this review I better have convinced you to pick it up as soon as it releases. You will not be disappointed.
"No one has a right to be that happy without serious meds being involved. Its just annoying for the rest of us."
Wickett Tate. Wick Tate. Hacker. Whatever you want to call her. She is a fresh new face in the world of teen. She's real and smart and out to protect what's most important to her. Her sister. Nothing will stand in her way. She's just KICKASS!! When she receives the journal from a dead friend with "Find Me" written inside you have no idea what to think at first. Could it be her friend from the grave or a sick someone playing a trick on her. The story follows Wick trying to find the murderer of her old friend but along the way there are some real shady characters that leave you wondering who could it be???? Written with detail, feeling, and a sense of urgency, Find Me really pushes the limit on how much one can handle and shows us what good can come from the bad . FREAKING AWESOME!!
"I spent all last year kinda sorta maybe wanting him to give me that smile"
I loved Wick from the very beginning and not once did she piss me off or make me think she could be better because she was just herself and that's what you get. She doesn't change to fit in with what people expect her to be. She's smart enough to go with the flow but yet knows which small fights to pick. Being a hacker she runs on the darker side of life but she tries to help.  I seriously loved the hacking side of her. It really shows a creepy side of life and makes me double think about leaving my laptop open. It's actually really freaking fun to read. Trust me Judith!!!
"His grin stretches wider.'I like it when your mean. Don't be a chicken, Wick. Hold on to me'"
Now to talk about Griff.. Can you say Yummy.. First...He's a good guy and I say that loosely. He's also extremely hot. He also is there for her exactly every time that she needs him. Its not a luck thing, or a happen to be there at the right time kind of thing. It's Griff caring deeply for her and knowing exactly what she needs and when she needs it. From the ride home to the picture outside her window I was swooning for him. Like seriously falling for him. I really can not wait to get more of him. Oh and did I mention that HE RIDES A MOTORCYCLE!!! Gosh darnit I love him!! Also I have to mention that for a teen relationship it was kind of hot. I love that.. Like seriously there wasn't a whole lot of romance in this book which for me is kind of uncommon in the books I read but Romily does such a good job when they are together in that way. There are a lot of little things that I noticed that really enhances their relationship above a lot of other teen relationships. Its filled with so much chemistry and emotion that the little encounters that we get are so enough! I can't wait to get more in the next book! Like freaking dying here!!
"I place my hands on his chest and he jerks, mutter "fuck" in a way that makes me smile, lets me know how much this costs him"
"His arms drag me close. We're sinking and were tangled and when we resurface, he's pulled my legs around his torso and I've tugger my fingers into his hair"
Ahhh theres so much to say!! I loved how there was a little mystery! There was a little romance. It had a lot of aspects that I love in a book and they were all done well. From her dad on the run threatening to show up any time and ruin everything, to the mystery man who is calling to Wick to come find him. There's not one point of the story that you will lose interest on. Wick just felt so real to me and I really was hoping that everything was going to turn out okay. I wanted her to know what it was like to be loved. I wanted her to know what it was like to not be alone. I just wanted her happy cause gosh darn-it she deserves that!

I also loved her friend(s), her sister, even her foster family. Each and every one added such a different side to the story and to Wick. You never knew what was going to happen around the corner, and there were a couple times where I could not put the book down. I would stay up late reading, and then pick it up again the next morning because I had to continue the story. I love Wick but I got to say I kept reading for Griff. He is definitely someone you would want in your corner. He can be in my corner any time he would like ;) .. or my head eh Romily ;)
"At some point I must have smacked my head. But I do understand this: Griff came back for me"
I can not say enough good things about Find Me but I really hope that I have convinced you to at least go to the book store, pick it up and read the first page. If that isn't enough then I'm not sure what to do for you. You will be missing out on a very epic story if you pass it up. It was a thrilling ride and wonderful debut novel that I think will get most people hooked. I know I am.. Shay approves =)
