Blog Tour Review: Girl On Tour by Caisey Quinn

Picking up right where Girl With Guitar ends, Trace and Kylie each begin separate tours which tests their relationship and their strength to carry on. What we get in Girl on Tour is a heart throbbing adventure that will leave you speechless till the very end.

Gosh do I love Kylie. She's spunky and fun and I love how she's not afraid to speak her mind. She may be naïve and new to the industry but she does not take things lying down. I like that about her. When she sees something that isn't right she tries to fix it, which shows her daddy raised her right. When she see something she wants, she goes for it.
"Im from Oklahoma, honey. I can bless your heart and hate your guts all at the same time. But if you ever, and I mean ever, make another comment about Trace, his drinking or otherwise, then I promise, you won't be able to whistle fucking Dixie when I'm through with you"
Trace is still a hot country star goddess who is fighting to get back on top. While he may not make the best decisions in life he tries really hard to make the right ones. Sometimes you will want to smack him but then other times you have to agree with what he says and how he feels. I love how Trace's character not only has to fight to stay with Kylie but he still has his own demons in his closet. He feels like such a real character and he does what real people in those situations would do. I think. Its a tough time and has hard decisions to make but he's willing to make it work. Did I mention that his sexy as hell? =)
"He looked over at Kylie, who was wide-eyed and staring up at him. "At least an hour. No, shit, make it two." And with that, he picked his girlfriend up off her feet and carried her off stage"
One thing I really like about this series is how quick they are. Not in the sense that they instantly fall in love, nope that's not going to happen. I just really like that as soon as you delve into these books your hooked, and then all of a sudden your finished. Its got everything that I need to be a good book without a whole lot of filler. Its fantastic! I can count on spending time with something good when I pick up a Caisey Quinn novel.
Another thing that really rocks my boat with this novel is their relationship. Its steamy, its hot and its fun. Okay maybe its not fun all the time but with the long distance it makes their time together even more precious and yes a lot more steamy. There's showers, walls, doors, hay and everything in between that amps up everything and makes reading this book so enjoyable. They go through their rough patches like everyone does but reading from both POV's you can see that they care deeply for each other.
"I think I've left it with you because it's been missing since the last time I saw you"
I recommend it to anyone who likes young love, country music and lots of fan worthy love. If you haven't picked up this series already you better get on it, your missing out! If you have read #1 and are still on the fence of yay or nay with this one, I'm telling you its a Yay!!

Caisey Quinn lives in Birmingham, Alabama with her husband, daughter, and other assorted animals. The Last Kiss Goodbye Review

The Last Kiss Goodbye
By: Karen Robards

 18 + REVIEW!!

He saw her first, but his friend made the move.
She settled for the safer choice, but her heart knew the truth.

They love, they crave, they lie.

Garrett McCarthy, Annabelle Parker, and Milo Roberts were as close as friends could get. They shared in each other's joy during graduations, promotions, and engagements. They consoled one another through heartache and loss.

When one of the friend's life is tragically cut short, it's up to the two left behind to pick up the pieces and find out the truth - no matter the cost. As they slowly start to uncover the nature of his deception, and the very powerful people behind it, they begin to question everyone and everything, even themselves.

Everyone has secrets - some do it for love while others do it for power. Those secrets can change perceptions, alter reality and sometimes destroy lives.

What do you do when you find out your whole life has been a lie?

IM SO HAPPY!! I got to read this book just a couple days earlier then the release date thanks to Net Galley!!!! So here is my honest review.

So I know I haven't reviewed the first book in the series on my blog, because it was a while ago that I read it, but I have to share that I LOVE THIS SERIES!! The only reason why I picked up the first book is seriously because of the cover. The model is beautiful and with the purple, I was smitten right from the beginning. It took me awhile to actually pick it up and finally my amazing boyfriend put his foot down and actually bought it for me! (Love him so much)

I started
The Last Victim  and I instantly fell in love with Michael Garland. Give me this bad boy, dirty mouth, grouchy, horn dog of a man anytime and I will be a happy camper. Charlotte (Charlie) is also amazing and I loved her interactions with Michael along with her ability to face her past. In this first novel we find out that Charlie was actually a victim of a serial killer trying to kill her. Because of this she ends up facing her fears and becomes a psychiatrist and studies serial killers. Hence her meeting Michael. Yeah that's right Michael is a serial killer. Well it says he is, but we all question it. This first novel really opens up Charlie's world. Shows us what she fears in life and what motivates her to push through her fear. It also gives us a fantastic and unreal version of what it is to have a relationship with a ghost.. oh yes did I mention that Charlie can see and talk to ghost?? .. Please don't shy away from this though because it is done so well!! It really added another dimension of the story and it really pushed me to love Michael even more.. Oh yeah I also forgot to mention that Michael is a ghost too.. HEHE I freaking love it!!! Michael will remain my most favorite ghost of all time! He is so inappropriate and bad and I FREAKING LOVE IT!! You like crude rude and drop dead (pun intended) sexy guys then Michael is your man. He will own you and when you read these books you will be begging for more Michael.
"Baby, I'm telling you up front that if you go into a hotel room with Dudley with the intention of having sex with him, that's going to turn into the most haunted hotel room you've ever been in in your life."
Alright now moving on to my actually review of The Last Kiss Goodbye. I don't know how Karen did it. This book is 10 times better then the first book. Like seriously I could not put it down and there was not one page that turned me off. I was laughing or awing or wanting to punch Michael. Every page left me wanting more and never wanting the story to end.

The story itself is just so fantastic, it grips you right from page one. When I was reading it, it felt to me I was reading it as they were a group from criminal minds. That's who the characters remind me of which gave me a good imagination on what they were doing and why. Its so cool to read along and not know who the murderer is and trying to decipher whose the bad guy along with Charlie. I don't read a lot of mystery because I find them dry but Karen has done a fantastic job with this series.

Michael and Charlie's relationship starts to get a little more heavy and a little more scary for Charlie. He's a ghost for bloodies sake so how in the hell can they end up together?!?!?!?! ITS THIS REASON that I absolutely love this book. Charlie and Michael cannot be together. He's a ghost and she's not. Their on different realms. So how is it going to work out? Its maddening but so freaking good. Their relationship is filled with so much sexual tension that you could probably cut it with a knife, if it was actual substance. Their banter back and forth is down right hilarious! They drip sexual frustration that will leave you wanting to read more and more just to find out how they could ever end up sating each other.

Little Snippet:
"The slight curve of his mouth was-sexy as hell. 'I want normal. I want easy. I want happy. I want to do my work in peace, and find a man I can fall in love with, and maybe even get married to and have kids with. If you interfere with that one more time, I'll find a way to send you back on your way to hell, I swear.'
His eyes narrowed at her. 'You know what I want? I want to be able to eat a nice steak dinner like you had tonight. I want to drink a couple cold beers. I want to feel the sun on my face when I'm outside. I want to sleep. I want my damned life back. And I want to fuck the hell out of you.'
By the time he finished, his eyes were a hard, glittering blue. Charlie glared into them with true fury, but even as she did she could feel the electricity arching between them, feel the air around them turning to steam. Her heartbeat sped up. Her pulse started to pound. Deep inside, her body quickened. Her nipples suddenly felt all hot and prickly as they pushed against her dress' built-in bra, which inexplicably seemed to have gotten a couple of sizes too tight. Inside the silken scrap of her panties, she felt dampness, and heat.
As he watched her face, his pupils dilated until his eyes were almost black.
"Pay attention, babe:  that's what being turned on feels like," he said softly"
Charlie is smart though and knows she cannot be with Michael. For 1) He's a ghost. Duh! And 2) He's a serial killer. Can't forget that little tidbit but of course Michael is determined to change her mind.  Charlie does try to have a normal relationship with an actually alive and breathing male specimen that does really like her. You think Michael would have that. Oh HELL NO!  Gosh the things that he does, it makes me laugh just thinking back on it. I can not say enough good things about their relationship and I know I'm just ranting now but you guys seriously need to pick up this series and find out for yourself how awesome it is!! URRGG SOO FREAKING GOOD!!
AND THE ENDING!!!! ...Gosh darn it I nearly died!! Its a little bit shocking which I can handle cause I'm use to cliff-hangers. I wasn't prepared for Michael though. And that's all I'm going to say. I love Michael and will be team Michael forever!!
I recommend this book to any female that loves a little mystery, a little action and a whole lot of alpha male. You will feel frustration, you will laugh, and you may cry but gosh darnit you will end up loving every minute of it!

Find Me Reivew

Find Me
By: Romily Bernard

“Find Me.”

These are the words written on Tessa Waye’s diary. The diary that ends up with Wick Tate. But Tessa’s just been found . . . dead.

Wick has the right computer-hacking skills for the job, but little interest in this perverse game of hide-and-seek. Until her sister Lily is the next target.

Then Griff, trailer-park boy next door and fellow hacker, shows up, intent on helping Wick. Is a happy ending possible with the threat of Wick’s deadbeat dad returning, the detective hunting him sniffing around Wick instead, and a killer taunting her at every step?

Foster child. Daughter of a felon. Loner hacker girl. Wick has a bad attitude and sarcasm to spare.

But she’s going to find this killer no matter what.

Because it just got personal.

... ... .. I am speechless. I don't know how I can convey to you guys and Judith from ILoveYAFiction how amazing and truly worth while this novel is. I'm still in awe over it. I got to get my feelings out there though because this book CAN NOT pass you up. By the end of this review I better have convinced you to pick it up as soon as it releases. You will not be disappointed.
"No one has a right to be that happy without serious meds being involved. Its just annoying for the rest of us."
Wickett Tate. Wick Tate. Hacker. Whatever you want to call her. She is a fresh new face in the world of teen. She's real and smart and out to protect what's most important to her. Her sister. Nothing will stand in her way. She's just KICKASS!! When she receives the journal from a dead friend with "Find Me" written inside you have no idea what to think at first. Could it be her friend from the grave or a sick someone playing a trick on her. The story follows Wick trying to find the murderer of her old friend but along the way there are some real shady characters that leave you wondering who could it be???? Written with detail, feeling, and a sense of urgency, Find Me really pushes the limit on how much one can handle and shows us what good can come from the bad . FREAKING AWESOME!!
"I spent all last year kinda sorta maybe wanting him to give me that smile"
I loved Wick from the very beginning and not once did she piss me off or make me think she could be better because she was just herself and that's what you get. She doesn't change to fit in with what people expect her to be. She's smart enough to go with the flow but yet knows which small fights to pick. Being a hacker she runs on the darker side of life but she tries to help.  I seriously loved the hacking side of her. It really shows a creepy side of life and makes me double think about leaving my laptop open. It's actually really freaking fun to read. Trust me Judith!!!
"His grin stretches wider.'I like it when your mean. Don't be a chicken, Wick. Hold on to me'"
Now to talk about Griff.. Can you say Yummy.. First...He's a good guy and I say that loosely. He's also extremely hot. He also is there for her exactly every time that she needs him. Its not a luck thing, or a happen to be there at the right time kind of thing. It's Griff caring deeply for her and knowing exactly what she needs and when she needs it. From the ride home to the picture outside her window I was swooning for him. Like seriously falling for him. I really can not wait to get more of him. Oh and did I mention that HE RIDES A MOTORCYCLE!!! Gosh darnit I love him!! Also I have to mention that for a teen relationship it was kind of hot. I love that.. Like seriously there wasn't a whole lot of romance in this book which for me is kind of uncommon in the books I read but Romily does such a good job when they are together in that way. There are a lot of little things that I noticed that really enhances their relationship above a lot of other teen relationships. Its filled with so much chemistry and emotion that the little encounters that we get are so enough! I can't wait to get more in the next book! Like freaking dying here!!
"I place my hands on his chest and he jerks, mutter "fuck" in a way that makes me smile, lets me know how much this costs him"
"His arms drag me close. We're sinking and were tangled and when we resurface, he's pulled my legs around his torso and I've tugger my fingers into his hair"
Ahhh theres so much to say!! I loved how there was a little mystery! There was a little romance. It had a lot of aspects that I love in a book and they were all done well. From her dad on the run threatening to show up any time and ruin everything, to the mystery man who is calling to Wick to come find him. There's not one point of the story that you will lose interest on. Wick just felt so real to me and I really was hoping that everything was going to turn out okay. I wanted her to know what it was like to be loved. I wanted her to know what it was like to not be alone. I just wanted her happy cause gosh darn-it she deserves that!

I also loved her friend(s), her sister, even her foster family. Each and every one added such a different side to the story and to Wick. You never knew what was going to happen around the corner, and there were a couple times where I could not put the book down. I would stay up late reading, and then pick it up again the next morning because I had to continue the story. I love Wick but I got to say I kept reading for Griff. He is definitely someone you would want in your corner. He can be in my corner any time he would like ;) .. or my head eh Romily ;)
"At some point I must have smacked my head. But I do understand this: Griff came back for me"
I can not say enough good things about Find Me but I really hope that I have convinced you to at least go to the book store, pick it up and read the first page. If that isn't enough then I'm not sure what to do for you. You will be missing out on a very epic story if you pass it up. It was a thrilling ride and wonderful debut novel that I think will get most people hooked. I know I am.. Shay approves =)
