Excerpt:
Please note that this book is currently undergoing professional editing so this is an unedited sample. The final published version will be slightly different.

The stench of stale sweat, unwashed skin, and rancid body odor assaults my nostrils and I gag. The temp in the carriage must be pushing ninety degrees and a steady line of sweat coasts down my spine, gluing my shirt to my back. A craving to crawl out of my skin hits me like a bullet to the chest.
It’s not a new sentiment. It’s an urge I feel at least once every hour.
A potent desire to be anyone but myself.
To live any life but this one.
Heat rolls off the large body pressed into me from behind and the man grunts loudly. The desire to shed my skin accelerates and I shudder uncontrollably. Everywhere I look I’m confronted by a sea of grimy, male chests in dirty, sweat encrusted work wear. Being short sucks almost all of the time, but being stuck in the middle of an overcrowded, bursting-at-the-seams subway carriage, during one of the hottest heatwaves New York has ever known, sucks butt on a stratospheric level, and has me cursing the genes that stalled my growth at five feet one.
Claustrophobia swoops in, surrounding me in an anxiety-laced cloud, and I know I’ve reaching my tipping point.
I can’t bear this a second longer.
With my lungs screaming for air, I push my way forward, shuddering as I squeeze past more disgusting, heaving forms.
I fling myself out onto the platform in the nick of time. The train eases out of the station as my legs make a break for freedom. Bounding up the stairs two at a time, I thrust my tiny frame forward, propelling my legs as fast as they can go. My entire being strains for release.

∞ Killing Sarai ∞ By J.A. Redmerski

 Killing Sarai
By: J.A. Redmerski

From the author of the New York Times, USA Today & Wall Street Journal bestselling novel, THE EDGE OF NEVER, comes a story of passion and survival…
Sarai was only fourteen when her mother uprooted her to live in Mexico with a notorious drug lord. Over time she forgot what it was like to live a normal life, but she never let go of her hope to escape the compound where she has been held for the past nine years.

Victor is a cold-blooded assassin who, like Sarai, has known only death and violence since he was a young boy. When Victor arrives at the compound to collect details and payment for a hit, Sarai sees him as her only opportunity for escape. But things don’t go as planned and instead of finding transport back to Tucson, she finds herself free from one dangerous man and caught in the clutches of another.

While on the run, Victor strays from his primal nature as he succumbs to his conscience and resolves to help Sarai. As they grow closer, he finds himself willing to risk everything to keep her alive; even his relationship with his devoted brother and liaison, Niklas, who now like everyone else wants Sarai dead.

As Victor and Sarai slowly build a trust, the differences between them seem to lessen, and an unlikely attraction intensifies. But Victor’s brutal skills and experience may not be enough in the end to save her, as the power she unknowingly holds over him may ultimately be what gets her killed.

This is their story…

Well I have had this book on my Kindle for so long and I don't know why it took me so long to start reading it. I happened to see it and I just clicked on it. Why not? It was about time. Well... I was hooked from the first page. You start off right in the action and it never stops. I'm so completely blown away.

After being held captive for 9 years by a drug lord in Mexico, Sarai finds a way to break free. She hoped with the help of the American she would be set free but things do not go as planned. There were many twist's and turns and none of them really helped Sarai. Her life is completely changed and to read her story was captivating.

I have to say that the story between her and the American, which we later find out his name to be Victor, was stunning. So well done. I wouldn't call it love and I wouldn't quite call it lust either. It was something completely different and dark. It thrilled me in a way that I'm guessing it will affect most people. It's completely consuming and from a readers stand point, it's one in a million.

I will warn you that concepts in this book are dark and disturbing. There is a lot of gore and evil undertones that if you are affected by blood and gore then this book might turn you off. Buuuuut if not, then this book is for you! Its so well written with so much intensity that you will be hooked!

As soon as I finished this one I instantly one clicked the next book, Reviving Izabel. I just need to know whats going to happen! I can't believe it took me this long to finally start this book! I really wish I hadn't, I've missed out on a crazy good read for so long! UUrrrggg So freaking good!!!!!!!!!

OH MY GOSH!!!!! This series just gets better and better. It was sooo freaking good! I can't believe how fast pace it was. It was like a roller-coaster. The mystery behind Looking Glass! Awesome! I couldn't decide if they were good or not, kept me guessing... I loved Wicks internal debate on if she was a good or bad person. She really beat herself up this time. As soon as she got out of looking Glass it was like balls to the walls amazing! Everything just went nuts and then boom! Big explosive ending!

Find Me(#1)and Remember Me(#2)were two amazing books but I have to say this has been my favorite in the series. As we delve back into the world of Wick, we get to see more of her hacker side. We have moved away from the murder investigation plot and into a world of cover ups, criminals, manipulators, and business conspiracies. It's an action packed eye opener that really makes you see everyone in a new light, including Wick. We really see her vulnerable side as she questions all the decisions she has made. Did she do right by her family? Did she do right by Griff or Milo? Did she do right by herself? And exactly what role does her father play? There are so many twist and turns but then it slows down with little sweet moments. I couldn't put the book down!

"How do you find your way when you can't see through the shadows"

The sweet and wonderful Griff some how just got more amazing. The little glimpses that we get with him were a delight. I love him so much! He cares so much about Wick and he is the only one that truly gets her. He's her rock. He's her guiding light in the shadows. I couldn't be more happier with the way  their story ends. (Maybe if we had a little more sexy time LOL)
"I know all of my broken places now. It used to be something I was ashamed of,  but now it shows me what I want"
The ending! OH MY GOSH THE ENDING! As I was reading I couldn't help but keep track of my pages. It was thrilling right up till the final page where it ended with a bang. LITERALLY! I was blown away. But I was also so happy. All I could do was grin because it fits so perfectly. Romily really blew me away with Trust Me. Make sure you don't miss out on it!!

**Side note: The title, Trust Me, is so perfect! It  completely sums up every relationship, every moment and every choice in this book. It's just AWESOME!

∞ Bully ∞ By: Penelope Douglas

Bully
By: Penelope Douglas

My name is Tate. He doesn't call me that, though. He would never refer to me so informally, if he referred to me at all.

We're neighbors, and once, we were best friends. But then, one summer, he turned on me and has made it his mission to screw up my life at every opportunity. I've been humiliated, shut out, and gossiped about all through high school. His pranks and rumors got more sadistic as time wore on, and I made myself sick trying to hide from him. I worried about what was around every corner and behind every door.

So I left.

I spent a year studying abroad and bathed in the freedom of life without Jared. Now I'm back to finish up high school and get the hell out of here forever. I'm hoping that after a year of breathing room, he's moved on and forgotten all about me.

But even if he hasn't changed, I have. I'm not interested in avoiding him or turning the other cheek anymore. We're going to go head to head, because neither of us wants to back down.

WOW!! I don't even know where to begin with this book. I started it not thinking that I would be finishing it in one sitting. It was just so amazing that I couldn't put it down.

The love-hate relationship in this novel was out of this world amazeballs! There was so much tension between Tate (Tatum) and Jared but yet it didn't feel forced. The story felt very natural specially since Tate wasn't the kind of girl to whine about her problems. I loved that about her. She really went at things head on with him even after all the things he'd done. And Jared did some really terrible things to her. I loved the whole concept of the Bully creating other Bullies. Not that I condone that but it really makes you think about your actions and the affect it can have on other people. Their relationship progressed so smoothly yet still SO MUCH TENSION!!! I WAS SERIOUSLY DYING THE WHOLE TIME!!! It surprised me since's it a YA book, since their in high school but it feels more like NA to me. This book really out did itself. One one of the best tension filled books I've read. Definitely in the top ten for sure!

All the secondary relationships were honest and real. Her BFF  K.C sometimes got on my nerves but I can see what she was doing what she was doing. AND it makes me hope that she gets her own book.

Bully was so enjoyable and addictive! Definitely highly recommend this book!!! So FREAKING GOOD!!! One of my favorite reads so far this year! Go read it!!

∞ Review ∞ Heir of Fire by: Sarah J Maas

Heir of Fire
By: Sarah J. Maas

Lost and broken, Celaena Sardothien’s only thought is to avenge the savage death of her dearest friend: as the King of Adarlan’s Assassin, she is bound to serve this tyrant, but he will pay for what he did. Any hope Celaena has of destroying the king lies in answers to be found in Wendlyn. Sacrificing his future, Chaol, the Captain of the King’s Guard, has sent Celaena there to protect her, but her darkest demons lay in that same place. If she can overcome them, she will be Adarlan’s biggest threat – and his own toughest enemy.

While Celaena learns of her true destiny, and the eyes of Erilea are on Wendlyn, a brutal and beastly force is preparing to take to the skies. Will Celaena find the strength not only to win her own battles, but to fight a war that could pit her loyalties to her own people against those she has grown to love?

Well I can't really put into words just how amazing I think this series is. Ill give you a little back ground however.

One night after I've been reading the second book in the series (Crown of Midnight) for a long while I feel asleep on the couch. I woke later to realize how late it was and headed to bed not thinking much. That night my house was broken into. I do not blame this on the book but unfortunately for a long wile I couldn't pick this book back up or any book for that matter. However, I really really was enjoying the series and it is for that reason only that I got over whatever it was that stopped me from finishing it. I picked the book back up and I had the third book finished in two days. AND DAMN AM I SO HAPPY THAT I DIDN'T WAIT ANY LONGER.

This series has seriously blown my world apart. The writing is so darn amazing along with the character development is just freaking great. Celaena is so full of strength which is proved in the second book. However, in this third installment we really get to see the underbelly of what makes up Celaena. She is not all tough nails and bitter retorts, even though there is no limit of those. She knows hurt and it's not the fake surface stuff. She stands strong for so many reasons and even though shes been beaten and battered she finds some little string of hope within herself. And it is this that shows me how truly amazing she is. I love her story so much. I really wish I could read the  next book right now cause I don't want to leave her.

One of my favorite things about Heir of Fire is the new character Rowan. He is such a freaking ass to her and continues to be a pain in her side throughout the whole book that everything moment with them together was priceless. The witty banter between them is so well done. Along with that though he also is able to make Celaena better. Not only in her ability to work with magic but also in the person she has become. There is such a tug of war for him, if he really cares for her as a person or a weapon to use in their war. I loved every single bit of it. As much as I love Chaol (which I very much do) I have to say I think Rowan is better suited for Celaena. I can't wait to see what is going to happen when all is said and done. (Please don't hate me for this)

One thing I wish wasn't the case with this book is all the switching of POV. I know there is a reason for it but I just loved every moment with Celaena that I didn't want to read about any one else. Well except Cheol and Dorian. Those were a nice touch, specially since we finally get to see exactly what their feeling with Celaena so far away. However the war games with the witches I just found boring. I would count the number of pages left to read to be back with Celaene and Rowan.

Over all the book was still amazing! For a third book in the series it still outdone the books before it. There were new friendships forged and new ties to break. There was swift action and unsuspecting drama that the story flowed so smoothly I didn't realize how addicted I was until I finished it in one day. Just an amazing series that I wish everyone would go out and read, as long as you like fantasy teen kick ass heroines. =D
“She was the heir of ash and fire, and she would bow to no one.”
